Middle East College is committed to addressing student concerns fairly, promptly and transparently. If you have a grievance, follow the steps below.<\/p>\n
Step 1: Discuss the matter
\nDiscuss your concern with the relevant staff member or Head of Department.<\/p>\n
Step 2: Contact the Student Experience Office
\nIf the matter is not resolved to your satisfaction, submit the grievance to the Student Experience Office.<\/p>\n
Step 3: Departmental review
\nThe relevant Head of Department will review the grievance forwarded by the Student Experience Office and provide feedback.<\/p>\n
Step 4: Escalation to the Assistant Dean or Director
\nIf you remain dissatisfied with the outcome, the grievance may be escalated to the relevant Assistant Dean or Director for review and a decision.<\/p>\n
Step 5: Escalation to the Deputy Dean
\nIf the grievance remains unresolved, it may be escalated to one of the following, depending on the nature of the matter:
\n\u2022 Deputy Dean and Registrar
\n\u2022 Deputy Dean for Academic Excellence
\nThe relevant Deputy Dean will review the case and provide feedback or a decision.<\/p>\n
Step 6: Escalation to the Dean
\nIf the outcome is still unsatisfactory, the grievance may be escalated to the Dean of the College.<\/p>\n
Step 7: Final decision
\nYou will receive the final decision from the Dean.
\nA grievance may be closed at any stage once it has been resolved to your satisfaction.<\/p>\n
