Our student team of Insiya Zehra, Wadhah Salim Said Al Darii, Tamadher Saleh Abdullah Al Hosni, Safa Ahmed Mohammed Al Baiti, and Asma Ghafoor Khan, &nbsp;guided and mentored by Dr Vidhya Lavanya of the Computing and Electronics Engineering Department secured a seed funding of 12000 OMR to transform their project which focuses on <strong>long-term solar PV system output forecasting using Machine Learning<\/strong>. The funding will allow the team to transform their graduate project into a start-up.<\/p>\n<p>We are incredibly proud that seven Middle East College student teams have won UPGRADE awards in this program in the past five years.&nbsp;<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hearty congratulations to the winning team of the 6th UPGRADE programme.
