Now that my experience at Middle East College is soon to end, I wanted to summarise some of my favourite moments <span class=\"issue-underline underline decoration-2 underline-offset-4 transition decoration-border-brand-default [.long-form-editing-active_&amp;]:decoration-border-brand-default\/50 hover:bg-bg-brand-light-default\" data-issueid=\"a87e4e2e-4d58-4d43-b9d9-50d55e6bd598\" aria-label=\"open issue for the following text here, even though\" data-testid=\"issue-underline:here. However,\">here, even though<\/span> there are so many more to share. The global pandemic hindered some of my experience there, but I still have some memorable moments that have significantly enriched it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"pb-2\" data-private=\"redact\" data-wt-guid=\"438580ff-7f5a-4160-bfac-68e521d43ab1\"><strong>Moments of bliss on campus<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"pb-2\" data-private=\"redact\" data-wt-guid=\"17cf8c08-28bc-4d9d-a9f3-8390812f50c2\">The daily dose of exercise at the gym in the student hub, the fresh air and the scenic views of the Ibn Rushd Building (IBR) with high-class infrastructure for students in the student hub are the defining moments of my time at MEC, which define my highlight of every day. It was a wonderful climate in Rusayl throughout my time at Middle East College, with frequent rains and plenty of fresh air. Studying with my co-mates in the student lounges and food court left a lasting impression.<\/p>\n<p class=\"pb-2\" data-private=\"redact\" data-wt-guid=\"502b4279-b54a-405c-8fba-314edd258f9c\"><strong>My second home is at the Ibn Rushd Building (IBR)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"pb-2\" data-private=\"redact\" data-wt-guid=\"72721b36-35aa-4a6c-8070-7b9040c9cba8\">In class, I liked the classroom facilities and the building with a very aesthetically pleasing dynamic infrastructure. I enjoyed my private space to chill out with friends in the Poesia caf\u00e9 on the ground floor. It was very comfortable having classes in a building surrounded by professors and printers to get feedback on my <span class=\"issue-underline underline decoration-2 underline-offset-4 transition decoration-border-brand-default [.long-form-editing-active_&amp;]:decoration-border-brand-default\/50 hover:bg-bg-brand-light-default\" data-issueid=\"10153d66-799d-4cf7-a8a7-89fd54566c53\" aria-label=\"open issue for the following text work, and it\" data-testid=\"issue-underline:work. This\">work, and it<\/span> has helped me a <span class=\"issue-underline underline decoration-2 underline-offset-4 transition decoration-border-danger-default [.long-form-editing-active_&amp;]:decoration-border-danger-default\/50 hover:bg-bg-danger-light-default\" data-issueid=\"f3c6f870-cb81-4981-a9ba-655f8a532b34\" aria-label=\"open issue for the following text lot. \u00a0The\" data-testid=\"issue-underline:lot. The\">lot. \u00a0The<\/span> prayer room has a special connection to my inner peace so that I can stay confident, calm, and bold in the building.<\/p>\n<p class=\"pb-2\" data-private=\"redact\" data-wt-guid=\"bc85ae36-3d41-460b-bcf5-69f4634a69f9\"><strong>Meeting my team<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"pb-2\" data-private=\"redact\" data-wt-guid=\"0e121b89-00e1-4ee6-a8db-024b67702167\">I&#8217;m lucky to have lifetime friends who have made me passionate about learning new languages and exchanging ideas. It&#8217;s fun to try different foods <span class=\"issue-underline underline decoration-2 underline-offset-4 transition decoration-border-danger-default [.long-form-editing-active_&amp;]:decoration-border-danger-default\/50 hover:bg-bg-danger-light-default\" data-issueid=\"a24a8b0e-bc21-45e8-ab7e-7160e5a180ab\" aria-label=\"open issue for the following text at\" data-testid=\"issue-underline:in\">at<\/span> the three canteens. All in all, focusing on these languages throughout the year was the perfect distraction from academics and a way to enrich my college experience. My favourite memories of my classmates are closely tied together. I&#8217;m most happy when we&#8217;re working on assignments together.
