The talk covered a range of topics on current job market dynamics, practical strategies for job preparation, identifying the skills in demand by employers, the right attitude and personality, the importance of filling the CV with good experience and skill sets, why companies are focusing more on hiring fresh graduates over experienced people, and self-motivation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"pb-2 min-w-[1px]\" data-private=\"redact\" data-wt-guid=\"6ca60da2-0631-4ebc-9951-6ea8a46d1d14\">Students from different programmes attended the talk and gained insights that will equip them on their journey to the evolving <span class=\"issue-underline underline decoration-2 underline-offset-4 transition decoration-border-brand-default [.long-form-editing-active_&amp;]:decoration-border-brand-default\/50 hover:bg-bg-brand-light-default\" data-issueid=\"d3b9d468-279a-4c52-86f5-852686306879\" aria-label=\"open issue for the following text world of work.\" data-testid=\"issue-underline:work world.\">world of work.\u00a0<\/span>MEC Business Meet aims to enhance job market awareness among students, strengthening their employability. It serves as a platform for students to gain insight into the job market <span class=\"issue-underline underline decoration-2 underline-offset-4 transition decoration-border-brand-default [.long-form-editing-active_&amp;]:decoration-border-brand-default\/50 hover:bg-bg-brand-light-default\" data-issueid=\"13be74ad-f43e-49ee-a280-b5a7a8f14f9f\" aria-label=\"open issue for the following text and the skills required\" data-testid=\"issue-underline:and skills needed\">and the skills required<\/span> to succeed.
