TTO Organization Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. To receive applications related to technology transfer including requests for patent deposit registration, software code authorship, licensing request and others.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. To ensure that submissions are complete and include all the related documents, description and diagrams including MEC declaration form and also check that all the submissions are in compliance with the standard policy and procedures related to intellectual property laws in Sultanate of Oman.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. To consider that all the  submissions  are in compliance with the standard policy and procedures  of Middle East College related to plagiarism, <\/strong>Ethical and biosafety  policies and other related policies<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. To review the technical content of each application form technically and legally.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. To Conduct a pre-assessment evaluation for any application by constituting a committee from different departments<\/em> and specialisations using available resources to ensure that similar applications have not been submitted, and licensed previously, both inside Oman and internationally. Further assessment in MEC final filing and submission to the NTTO in Oman<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Conduct workshops and  awareness session related to intellectual properties policies<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Submitting annual and monthly reports and documentation related to the Office.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8.  Communicate with the industry to find all commercialization and funding opportunities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. Conduct exhibitions, symposiums and other related activities to promote research outcomes with industry partners   and finding new opportunities for partnership.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  10.  Ensure that all industry related agreements are subjected to the policies and rules of Middle East College for technology transfer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  11. Identify the need for new policies, procedures and provide recommendations to the higher management.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
