The winning project named \u2018Smart system for preserving water loss in the Sultanate of Oman\u2019 was guided and mentored by Dr. Basim Khidir, Head of Mechanical Engineering. The students have won funding of 10,000 OMR to transform their graduation project focussed on 4th Industrial Revolution Technologies to bring about Socio-economic benefit for the country. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The&nbsp;4th Edition of UPGRADE program competition saw 75 projects submissions from 19 institutions from within and outside Oman. Middle East college had submitted 22 projects, and among these, four projects&nbsp;have&nbsp;reached&nbsp;the final round, and one project won the funding.
