About the Programme

The SELAH Mentorship Programme is a structured, eight-week initiative that paired ten distinguished alumni mentors with fourteen recent MEC graduates. The programme provided a dynamic platform for professional development and collaborative growth through direct, one-to-one mentorship.

Programme Structure and Mechanism

Mentors and mentees were meticulously matched based on their academic backgrounds and relevant professional expertise, ensuring a synergistic and effective partnership. Each pair was committed to completing six hours of structured consultation and guidance sessions throughout the programme’s duration.

A core component of the programme involved mentors guiding their mentees in the formulation of a comprehensive Individual Development Plan (IDP), which outlined three distinct, measurable, and achievable professional goals. The engagement was conducted through a hybrid model, incorporating both in-person and online sessions, with continuous monitoring by the Alumni Engagement Office to uphold the quality of interaction and ensure adherence to the programme’s objectives.
