English In line with its steadfast commitment to bridging the gap between academia and industry, the Department of Civil and Mechanical Engineering at Middle East College is pleased to announce the forthcoming ‘Career Launchpad’ event for the Autumn 2025 semester. The event will feature the final project presentations of its graduating students.
Scheduled to take place on Thursday, 29 January 2026, this initiative is designed to serve as a dynamic interface between our students and leading figures from the engineering sector.
The ‘Career Launchpad’ provides an invaluable platform for students to present their culminating projects and scholarly achievements. It offers them a formal setting in which to demonstrate their practical competencies and innovative problem-solving capabilities to an audience of industry specialists, potential employers, and academic staff. Furthermore, the event is structured to enhance the students’ professional readiness by facilitating direct engagement with industry experts, thereby providing them with critical insights into the current and future landscape of the engineering profession.
