English I have currently finished my first year in Middle East College (MEC) and had a phenomenal and spectacular experience since day one. The first impression that implanted relaxation within me is that everyone on the college campus is supportive, friendly, and encouraging. Moreover, MEC provides all the students’ materials to successfully achieve their learning career, starting from books, online resources, class activities, and assignments. Also, on the college campus, multiple activities and events are being presented to help students balance between studying and entertainment.
The college encourages the students’ participation in organizing the events and also presenting their talents. The learning environment the students get to experience is full of opportunities where students are given a chance to look-up for information by themselves, share it with their professors and colleagues, engage in discussions, and meeting other lecturers from different colleges to share their knowledge based on their field experience.
Besides, MEC has successfully adapted to Emergency Response Teaching due to the global crisis happening. The faculties have been so supportive to the students and always encourage them to seek new and diverse information and engage in activities such as conferences and webinars. Also, all the study materials are available online and regularly updated on MEC Learn (Moodle) to ease students’ access to the study materials.
Lastly, I really cannot wait for this global pandemic to be over and get back onto the college campus to create exceptional memories with my friends. I look forward to completing my experience in the professors’ supportive learning environment and gaining a lot of knowledge and developing skills from their experiences.
