Abdulaziz Al Siyabi: My decision to study at MEC was the best decision that I could ever have taken!

Doing my Master’s degree in Civil Engineering has always been one of my career dreams. When I decided to pursue my higher studies in Civil Engineering, specifically the Construction Project and Cost Management, I visited all the universities and colleges in Muscat Governorate and I came to the conclusion that the Middle East College (MEC) is the most appropriate college in all respects for achieving my career dreams. My decision to study at MEC was the best decision that I could ever have taken about my academic life, for, at MEC, the study environment, and its educational system (including part-time courses) are helpful. Since I have family responsibilities and work obligations, I opted for the part-time course which was convenient and suitable for my working hours.

Moreover, the specialization has helped me understand a lot more about how to bid for a tender and the right process of tender evaluation. Also, I learn how to review the different contracts of companies related to my field. Hence studying at MEC helps me perform better at work as I am able to directly apply what I learn in my job and thus, I also gain practical knowledge during my study at MEC.
