MEC organizes 6th MEC Health and Safety Gathering

Middle East College (MEC) organized the 6th MEC Health and Safety Gathering on 17th March 2018 at the MEC Student Hub, Knowledge Oasis Muscat (KOM). Various institutions from the public and private sector participated in the event, which included the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance, Oman Road Safety Association, and NMC Medical Centre. The event was conducted to increase health and safety awareness amongst the students and staff. It included many activities like free basic health check-up by NMC Medical Centre, workshop for Omani women on promoting fitness and following a healthy lifestyle, presentations about drugs victims, blood donation, and competitions to promote health and safety.
MEC is keen to provide a healthy and safe environment to ensure a better educational and work atmosphere for its students and staff. The college regularly organizes various events, activities and campaigns to raise awareness among MEC members and enrich their knowledge on matters related to health, safety, environment and well-being.
