My MEC experience landed me in a dream job

I am Shakina Akthar, an MEC 2023 graduate with a B.Sc.(Hons) in Logistics Management degree. Throughout my academic journey, I consistently achieved excellence and was honoured to be on the Dean’s list for three consecutive years. Currently, I am working at Omani Integrated Logistics Services SAOC (ILS), focusing on sales and marketing.

The internship opportunity I had during my major played a crucial role in connecting me with ILS and showcasing my abilities, ultimately leading to my recruitment as a full-fledged employee. Even after graduating, I have continued to receive tremendous support and guidance from my professors, enabling me to excel in my role and grow both personally and professionally.
