The Civil Engineering Programme is designed to familiarize you with the basic concepts of engineering theory, mathematics and the technical skills required to evaluate and design infrastructure for civil engineering projects. Consideration of sustainability and global aspects in civil engineering, acquiring strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively in an intercultural team environment are skills embedded in the curriculum.
MEC’s B.Eng (Hons) Civil Engineering programme has been accredited by the Joint Board of Moderators (JBM), UK, comprising the Institution of Civil Engineers, Institution of Structural Engineers, Institute of Highway Engineers, and the Charted Institution of Highway & Transportation, on behalf of Engineering Council UK, as fully satisfying the educational base for an Incorporated Engineer (IEng).
