Middle East College organizes Iftar Gathering

Middle East College (MEC) organized their annual Iftar Gathering at the college premises on Wednesday, 22nd May 2019 at MEC Student Hub, Knowledge Oasis Muscat (KOM) to uphold the spirit of Ramadan through social activities and to strengthen its relationship with the industry members. The gathering was attended by eminent people from public, private, media sectors including MEC management and staff. This event furthermore helped in strengthening and establish relationships between different sectors in the industry and MEC.

Dr. Saleh Al Shaaibi, Associate Dean – External Relations and Community Outreach, expressed the importance of such events and commended the institution’s initiatives to interact and engage with the industry in an attempt to strengthen its relationships and cooperation with the members of the industry. He added: “The month of Ramadan holds a great value to all Muslims and it provides us with an opportunity to meet our friends and colleagues and spread the spirit of this holy month. MEC believes in the importance of building, maintaining and strengthening its relations with the industry to enhance students experience at MEC and contribute towards enhancing the higher education sector in the Sultanate. We are extremely happy to meet all our stakeholders here at the iftar gathering”.
