Ministry of Health approves a COVID-19 related research proposal from MEC

The Ministry of Health, Oman approves a research proposal from MEC focusing on a computational study for COVID-19 to be undertaken in collaboration with The Royal Hospital – Ministry of Health, Oman. The project focusses on Computer-aided Diagnosis of COVID-19 from X-RAY or CT Images using Artificial Intelligence techniques. The Principal Investigator of the research is Dr. Smitha Nair who heads the Centre for Postgraduate Studies at MEC.
