Professional partnerships

   Microsoft IT Academy

   The college has signed an agreement to be the first Microsoft IT academy in Oman. This agreement allows us to introduce all Microsoft professional certifications along with the added benefits.

    

2. 

   Oracle Academic Initiative

   The college is a member of the Oracle Academic Initiative; the membership allows us to offer Oracle programmes to students in Oman.

3. 

   Cisco Network Partner Academy

   The college is a partner member of the Cisco Networking Academy Programme; it provides skills needed to work on networks and prepares students for industry certifications.

4. 

   EC Council

   EC-Council scholarship provides the students access to EC-Council’s industry-recognized Information Security education and certification and related technical disciplines.

5. 

   SAP

   SAP Academic Partnership helps to get course material and access to ERP software given in a hosted environment in Germany.

6. 

   Information Technology Authority, Oman – ITA

   The college has a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with ITA to raise awareness about free and open source software (FOSS).

7. 

   Linux Professional Institute

   The college is an approved academic partner of Linux Professional Institute. This allows MEC to regularly conduct intensive training on Linux and assists our students to prepare for LPI certifications.

   Global Science and Technology Forum (GSTF)

   MEC has a partnership with Global Science and Technology Forum (GSTF), Singapore.

9. 

   CompTIA

   MechE is an independent professional association and learned society headquartered in London, United Kingdom, that represents mechanical engineers and the engineering profession.

10. 

    TESOL International

    Middle East College maintains an institutional membership with TESOL International, offering faculty professional development opportunities through training programs and access to diverse resources, including books and other materials.

11. 

    British Council

    Middle East College has a partnership with the British Council. As part of this collaboration, the college hosts an on-campus IELTS exam center, supports staff development through training programs and initiatives, and provides students with trial testing opportunities for IELTS and APTIS, helping them experience a realistic exam environment and enhance their preparation.
