Middle East College Celebrates the Graduation of 1,077 Students in the Class of 2025: A New Generation to Lead Future Development

Middle East College has celebrated the graduation of its new cohort for the year 2025. In a joyous ceremony, 1,077 students donned their graduation gowns, marking the culmination of years of effort and perseverance and heralding their transition to new horizons in the labour market and their contribution to national development.

The graduating class included students from a diverse range of vital and contemporary disciplines. The cohort comprised graduates from various branches of Engineering, Computing and Information Technology, alongside specialisations in Business Administration, and Archives and Records Management. Furthermore, the ceremony recognised the achievements of postgraduates from the College’s Master’s degree programmes across several fields.

The ceremony also honoured students of outstanding academic achievement, acknowledging their distinguished efforts throughout their course of study. The graduates expressed their pride and gratitude to their families and lecturers who supported them on their educational journey, affirming their resolve to apply their acquired knowledge to serve the nation and contribute to the realisation of Oman Vision 2040.

Dr. Abdullah bin Saif Al-Sabahi, Chairman of the Board of Directors, congratulated the graduates and their families on this significant accomplishment, emphasising that this day represents a new beginning, not an end. “You now bear a great responsibility to contribute to the development of our nation and the building of its future,” said Dr. Al-Sabahi. “Invest in yourselves and continue to learn, for knowledge does not end with a degree certificate; it is a lifelong journey.” He urged the graduates to uphold high professional ethics and to embrace creativity and innovation in their respective fields.

Graduate Yasser bin Khalid Al-Balushi expressed profound feelings of pride and gratitude for this achievement. He stated, “Today, we stand here with hearts full of gratitude to our families who supported us, to our lecturers who imparted their knowledge, and to the College administration that provided us with an exceptional learning environment. We promise to be loyal ambassadors for this institution and to exert our utmost efforts to serve our beloved country and raise its standard in every forum.”

It is noteworthy that Middle East College continues to offer advanced academic programmes that are aligned with global developments, striving to qualify a national workforce capable of competing in the local, regional, and international labour markets.
