I was absolutely honoured and thrilled when I received MEC's kind invitation as one of the keynote speakers of their 2nd TESOL Conference scheduled 28th October, 2020. Such recognition of my scholarship gave me a deep sense of pride in my achievements and motivated me to return the favour to MEC. Therefore, as a specialist in language policy and planning, I decided to opt for a timely topic pertinent to planning technology within TESOL not only to inspire my junior colleagues at the conference about TESOL policy implementation, but also to allow them to see the relationship between technology and TESOL from a somehow different perspective. I firmly believe that MEC TESOL Conference is the ultimate platform for any professional to share such ideas with their professional community and hopefully see them turn into informed actions to transform Oman TESOL.
