Students from GCC compete in MEC’s ultimate Bot Battle at MECKATHON 2024

MECKATHON BOT BATTLE was a dynamic event where students from various disciplines came together to showcase their engineering and programming prowess. Teams from 4 countries (Oman, Bahrain, UAE and Saudi) competed to design and program robots that could navigate complex challenges. The event not only highlighted the technical skills of students but also promoted teamwork and innovation among the participants.

Winners of the MECKATHON Bot Battle

First Place: Team Bot Masters
Mohammed Al Harrasi and Nooh Alqasmi emerged victorious, demonstrating exceptional programming skills and strategic thinking with their chatbot design, earning them the top spot in the competition.

Second Place: Team Acedia
Nasser Mohammed Al-Khaifi and Abdullah Adil Abdullah AlSharji, displayed innovative problem-solving abilities and technical expertise, securing the second place with their robust bot performance.

Third Place: Team BAR Innovates
Bryan Adams and Aarush Sai Manchiryal showcased creativity and engineering prowess, which placed them third in the intense competition.
