I am grateful for the wonderful academic experience I had at Middle East College. As a student pursuing a Bachelor’s in Human Resource Management, I found the curriculum challenging yet rewarding.
Middle East College faculty and staff were incredibly supportive and gave me the guidance I needed to succeed. One of the things I appreciated most about my time at the college was the student-centred approach to learning. The faculty are experts in their respective fields and dedicated to helping students achieve their academic and career goals. They were always available for one-to-one consultations and provided constructive feedback on my assignments. This excellent guidance and mentoring helped me consistently maintain excellent grades and participate in academic competitions both locally and internationally. My group was awarded second and first positions, respectively.
I worked at Middle East College as a research assistant in the IT Department, covering various aspects such as Data Mining, Data Algorithms and more. MEC provided me with adequate career guidance and training opportunities that allowed me to succeed in my career. I also had the opportunity to travel internationally and practice business pitching ideas, simulation models, and international conferences while studying at MEC. With the opportunity provided by MEC, I secured first place in the Marketplace Simulation challenge held in Florida, U.S.A. I was also given the platform to practice in the intercollege quizzes and competitions at Omani universities. Moving on, I am looking forward to my Masters abroad. My bachelor’s from MEC helped me get the recognition I needed to be considered for post-graduate studies.
