MEC organizes 5th edition of its Symposium on Teaching and Learning, Research and Community Engagement

Middle East College (MEC) is organizing the Fifth Teaching and Learning, Research, and Community Engagement Symposium from 27th to 29th of September 2021. This is a major annual event at MEC that brings together all academic staff under one umbrella to share and celebrate the best practices.

Agile learning in higher education has gained popularity in recent years because the most sought-after attribute in today’s graduates is the mindset and ability to learn new skills in accordance with the emerging needs of society and the workplace. Henceforth the 5th MEC Symposium will be conducted under the theme of “Nurturing Agile Learners”.

The event will have Keynote speeches and panel discussions on various topics, as well as award ceremonies at the department and programme levels, and at the faculty level to acknowledge and appreciate the use of appropriate pedagogies and technologies, channeling industry engagement, and enhancing student research opportunities for developing agile learning communities.
