Campus Services

Campus Services Department delivers both building-related and user-related services to students, staff and other MEC stakeholders, it comprises of four offices: Maintenance and Housekeeping Office, IT Services Office, Security and Services Office and Health, Safety and Environment Office.

The goal of the Campus Services Department at Middle East College is to improve the level of services offered continually and to increase student and staff satisfaction while providing a clean, safe environment for teaching and learning throughout the college.

Maintenance and Housekeeping Office is primarily responsible for upkeeping of property, machinery, systems, and facilities, including buildings, utility infrastructure, roads, and grounds in MEC.          

 

Information Technology Services Office is primarily responsible for the various IT resources owned by MEC. Access to these resources is granted to all staff, registered students, alumni and visitors thru IT Services Office.

 

Security Services Office provides physical and technical security of the college ensuring that students, staff, and visitors are secured and protected.

 

Health Safety and Environment Office provides Health and Safety awareness to students, staff, visitors and contractors in observing HSE college regulations and encourages safe working practices.

  1. Maintenance and Housekeeping Office:
  • College and Hostels equipment’s and furniture maintenance
  • College and Hostels housekeeping services
  • Refurbishment of office/classroom space.
  • Request for office space for new joining staff/reallocation space.
  • Managing contractors for projects and maintenance activities.
  • Annual Maintenance Contract management.
  • Assisting exam office for room arrangement during exam.
  • Manage various Departments request.
  • Logistic support for MEC events

  • Physical patrolling entire the college
  • CCTV Surveillance monitoring
  • Courier services
  • Lost and Found

 

  1. Health, Safety and Environment Office
  • Conducts fire drill for college and hostel
  • Conducts HSE awareness session to staff and students
  • Conduct first aiders and fire wardens training sessions for staff and students
  • Building inspection
  • Pre event inspection
  • Wellness Centre management.
  • Issue Work permits
