The construction industry is often labelled as an industry of adversarial nature. This industry encompasses individuals from varied educational and professional training backgrounds with diverse mindsets. Hence, they have different perceptions of similar problems and situations. This leads to issues like delays in construction, cost escalation, substandard construction quality, variations, etc. Hence, it is very important to have judicious control of the cost, time and quality.
