Why should I enrol for this programme?
The programme is designed for you to address the requirements that have emerged from challenges which are posed by unprecedented growth in the use of individual or linked computer engineering and the supporting networking technologies. With most of the hardware being activated through software and the employment of a growing range of networking techniques and principles, the scope for integrated design and development of the technologies of software, and networking has increased enormously.
This programme prepares you to not only resolve these issues but also to address the needs of the region incorporating established international practices. The curriculum has a fine mix of recent theory and practice that involves in-depth exposure to real life situations through project work. There is a step-wise progression of evolving complexity due to the increasingly abstract nature of its topics. This course is specially designed for engineers, assistant engineers, technicians, technical supervisors and other personnel, who are seeking to better prepare themselves with the necessary technical skills and knowledge in managing IT network.
Candidates seeking direct admission to the programme mentioned should possess:
Graduates of this programme are required to support the country’s developing IT sector in the computer networking pathway. Considering the industrial growth and use of computing devices in the region, as a graduate of this programme, you will find positions as:
